For more information check out our location specific terms and conditions for the rental location. Alternatively you may also contact via the icons below to speak with one of our agents.

We recommend returning your car to the same pick-up location because dropping it somewhere else will cost more. However, we want you to enjoy every mile of your journey so we always try to be as flexible as we can if you wish to return it to another location in the same country (one way rentals are not permitted to other countries). Any extra cost will be included in your booking fee so you know upfront, however, any changes to your original booking could result in additional costs.

Further information can be found in the location specific terms and conditions for your hire location country.

We know that our customers hire vehicles for many different reasons, and have many different refueling needs. For your convenience, we offer 4 different refueling options:

– Bring Back Full If you bring the vehicle back full, or at the same level as the vehicle was picked up at, there won't be any charge. If there happens to be any missing fuel at the start, and it isn't the same as your rental agreement, please let one of our staff know or take a picture if you are in a hurry.

– Fuel Up Front This option allows you to purchase a full tank of fuel at a lower price per litre than our Pay on Return rates. You pay one flat fee for any amount of fuel, so try to return it as close to empty as you can to get the best value. If the vehicle is returned full, we do not charge you for Fuel Up Front.

– EZ Fuel If you drive for 75 miles (120 km) or less you can pre-pay a flat fee and we will take care of refuelling. If you choose to refuel yourself, please keep the receipt and present it when you return the vehicle.

– Pay On Return If you don’t have the time to refuel and haven’t taken Fuel Up Front, we can do it for you. Please keep in mind that this will incur a small fee.

If you cannot find your rental car, which can happen especially at major train stations and airports, please ask for assistance from our rental agency staff. You can reach them personally at the counter on site or by phone using the number provided on your rental agreement.

Our new service saves you time at the counter, allowing you to speed up your rental collection by registering your details in advance so you can easily grab the keys and go.

It’s simple. Hit the book button online and fill in your details straight away.

Use the button on the booking confirmation page to get started. To complete QuickPass, we need a few details from you – so have your driving licence and payment card ready. Enter all your details, customise your rental and click done. It’s really that easy!

Don’t have your details to hand? Don’t sweat it. You'll have plenty chances to do this before your rental. If you forget, we’ll send an email reminder.

To hire a car in Denmark, you need to be at least 19 years of age at the moment of collecting the vehicle and have held a driving licence for at least one year. A higher minimum age limit may apply to certain vehicles.

If you or your additional drivers are under the age of 25, you'll need to pay an extra fee per day. The amount depends on where you hire a car, because the law and insurance terms vary between countries, but you can expect it to be around 100 DKK per day per driver. If the location charges a premium fee, it could cost more. The minimum age you can hire a car also varies from country to country. Under the age of 25, you can hire cars from Group A, Group B, Group C, Group E, and Group I for example. Check out our fleet to find further information about specific categories.

There is currently no age maximum, so long as you have had a full, valid, licence for at least 1 year. Check the location specific terms and conditions for the country you are renting for more information on age requirements.

You just need to bring your:

  • Driving licence
  • Credit card (if it’s a high value vehicle two payment cards must be provided, one of which needs to be a credit card),
  • Proof of any discount (such as a frequent flyer card),
  • Photo ID (such as a passport or driving licence with photo)

You may also need to bring proof of where you live, which could include a recent utility bill or bank statement.  For more information on the rental requirements where you wish to rent, please review our location specific terms and conditions.

Lastly, if you booked online or over the phone, bringing a print out of your booking confirmation showing your unique booking reference can streamline your check-out process. If you booked through a travel agent or third party agent, you will also need to bring the voucher they have supplied.

The car groups also help you understand useful information, such as the amount you pay (the excess) if you're involved in an accident, which can vary from group to group.

Of course, please feel free to bring your own child seats when you collect your hire vehicle. Just remember to bring all the fittings you need to securely attach it. Not all our vehicles have ISOFIX points, so please contact the location you're hiring from. We'll try our best to help. Alternatively simply reserve a child seat when you book your hire vehicle. You can also hire baby and infant booster seats. All our child seats meet the highest industry standards, because we understand how important your child's safety is. Remember, if your child is below the age of 12 or under 135cm, by law you must use an appropriate seat. This is to help protect your child in a collision because normal seat belts are designed to fit adults in the stronger shoulder and hip areas. Unfortunately normal seat belts support a child in the wrong place. Find out more about hiring child seats.

The excess is the amount you pay if something goes wrong during your journey, for example damage or theft of the vehicle. The amount you pay depends on the vehicle you hire, which country you hire it in and whether you choose to reduce the excess by upgrading your level of cover. When you hire a vehicle with us, you'll automatically receive third party, vehicle damage (Collision Damage Waiver) and vehicle theft cover to safeguard you on your journey. If you book on the US website you may find that vehicle damage and vehicle theft cover are not included, as some American credit cards provide insurance for car hire. Third party cover is the basic level you need to hire a vehicle – that's why we always include it. Should you damage another vehicle or passengers and their property, you won't have to pay for repairs or injuries. But, if you have an accident you will still need to pay a fixed excess fee – unless you upgrade your cover. Find out how much you pay depending on what you hire and where you hire it. We also offer Personal Accident Insurance in case you're injured in an accident, however this must be purchased at the counter.

At the start of your rental, we will ask your card issuer to hold a sum of money for us. This is a temporary hold against the funds you have available on that card. We do not charge your card and no money is taken from your account. Your card issuer will usually present this authorisation hold as a pending transaction that reduces the money you have available to spend.

For further information about the pre-authorisation and the value of the authorisation hold, please click here.

Collecting your hire vehicle is quick and effortless, because we don't want to hold you up on your journey. Remember to bring your driving licence and a credit card (or two cards where required – for high value vehicles). We will then check your hire car for any existing damage. Once you are satisfied, simply sign the rental agreement. Then, the road is yours. Planning a trip? Start your journey.

Very few insurance policies cover you to drive a hire car. Even if you can provide evidence that it does, unfortunately we won't be able to reduce the amount you pay. This is because the rental agreement is between you and us, not us and your insurance company. Damage cover is included as standard with your rental. Should you have an accident, you will still need to pay a fixed (excess) fee – unless you choose to upgrade your cover. However, you could choose to claim this back through your insurance company. But bear in mind any excess fee you may have with your current insurance policy. Discover more about your protection options.

Further detail of this authorisation hold (also referred to as a 'pre-authorisation') is set out in the Location Specific Terms and Conditions for the country in which you are renting.

The authorisation hold will be for the estimated cost of your rental less any amount that you have paid in advance, plus 100$ converted to Danish Krone (for rentals in Denmark). When you complete your rental, and return the vehicle we will charge your card and the authorisation hold will be released by your card issuer. Depending on your card issuer, it can take up to 28 days before this is reflected in your account balance. As the authorisation hold has never been charged, the return of the funds will not be shown on your card statement. In case of any queries about the release of the authorisation hold please contact your card issuer. Please note – even though the hold is not an actual charge, it will temporarily reduce the available balance on your payment card.

Whether you're hiring a car or van, you just need a clean driving licence that covers the vehicle you're hiring. Don't worry if you have points on your driving licence. You can still hire a car if you have six or less points. You must have held your driving licence for at least one year and it must be from the country you live in. Please remember to bring your driving licence with you when you collect your vehicle. If you're driving abroad, you and your additional driver will also need to bring your International Driving Permits. But in some countries, such as China, you can only drive if you have a Chinese driving licence.
